Algae was a project pulled together for working with a major UK green festival in 2007.  The archives of the technical aspects are currently located here:-

We are thinking about starting a new email list for this project.

OK

Lets make a banner.

media.greenhorizons.org is what I suggest.  Or greenhorizons.org/media  Smiley

Then split it into visual and audio.

I am tempted to ask for a wiki and email list, although I can see we already have a forum and a blog that needs more users.

One thing that would really help is some documentation on organisation. Something from the top to set the goal posts and orient people so that they feel that they can contribute.  Something that explains the structure, how to get involved, the aims and methods and the communication tools.  This would allow me to invite folk to participate.

good thinking- I'll point Gollum in this direction! Nice to see you around - you've just caught me before I shoot out, but I'll be back this afternoon! Wink
I think he'll say something along the lines of "what can you do? - that sounds good - do it!" Grin

Got it in one!

I agree we need to concentrate on getting people here. Other than that, the more info, resources etc the better. If there's anything like the algae project that can be simply cut/pasted into GH, all the better.

Don't ask for technical comments from me on the media/streaming/IT etc, as most of it's beyond me - my comments, as Gandalf says - sounds good. If you think it's worth doing, let's do it.
